The 2.5 and 3.2 numbers are the form factors of the drive. Those numbers are the approximate diameter of the platter (disc) inside the hard drive. The 3.2 represents the generation connection to the computer from the drive.
- Question : Does it work with a PS3?Answer : Not sure. I’ve been told in the past that external hard drives worked on PS4 (so I’m assuming also PS3) but I know that a PS5 will completely brick this.
