How do you do a factory reset?

To do a factory reset, follow these steps: 1. Keep the door open with the latch retracted and thumbturn vertical. 2. Press and hold the reset button. Remove and reinsert one battery. 3. Continue holding the reset button for 3 seconds until you hear a rotating sound and the latch extends automatically. You can then use the default Master Code 12345678 to set a new Master Code.
