DiFluid Microbalance Digital Scales Editorial Review
The DiFluid Coffee Scale with Timer is a high-precision 2kg/0.1g scale designed for coffee lovers and baristas alike. The scale offers an impressive refresh rate and is very useful for pour-overs thanks to its flow rate display. The connection with the DiFluid Café app is seamless but currently lacks features, only displaying measurements on your phone. The build quality is sturdy and premium, but thermal drifting may be a big problem for some users, causing the measurement to drift up when something hot is on top of the scale. The silicone padding provided is not enough insulation to prevent this, but adding something else to the top of the scale seems to solve the problem. The touch-sensitive buttons work well, and the auto-timer is also relatively accurate. The scale is weighty, well-protected from liquid, and encased with a thick plexiglass cover, making it very durable and able to fit large cups in an E61 Profitec.
