Well, I ordered this much for a 30 Gallon Fish Tank. It pretty much covered the bottom about 2 inched. Roughly, the tank is about 2 1/2 feet (L) by 15 inches (W) by 15 inches (H). The bag was sufficient for my display.

How much gravel will I need for 60 gallon tank?

Carol, the rule of thumb is 1 pound of gravel for each gallon of water. You can use 60 pounds of gravel but likely you will not need that much if you are not growing rooted plants in the gravel. 40 lbs will probably work. You will want 1.5 to 2 inches of substrate.
