- Question : Will this work on dark/black flooring? I have a gym with those black floor mats. My Roomba is useless on it. Thinks it's falling off a cliff.Answer : It's unlikely - all robotic vacuums have challenges with black floors, as at least minimal light needs to be reflected for the cliff sensors. The Roomba s9 has an extra sensor plus technology to address this issue, but nothing further down the line at this point.
- Question : How loud is this unit?Answer : Not very loud. You hear it running but you can still hear TV or conversation. It is truly loud only when it docks to charge and the base unit suctions the dirt tank out and that's like 10 seconds. Not annoying to me at all, and I'm easily annoyed by noise.
