The Polar Products Active Ice® 3.0 Cold Therapy Universal Rectangular Pad is a versatile therapy pad that can be used on any body part including the ankle, knee, hip, shoulder, and even for facial surgery. It is compatible only with the Active Ice System and is easy to use and clean. The Velcro is strong and the pad is not heavy. Customers used it for various surgeries including total knee, shoulder, and hip replacement, and rotator cuff surgery, and found it to be effective in managing post-op pain when used in conjunction with prescribed pain medications. However, some customers noted that the straps wear out and replacements are not available from the company.
