Rutland Products 211 Dry Mix Refractory Cement is a versatile product that can be used for various purposes like insulating liner, repairing cracks in the fireplace or vermiculite liner of the wood stove or even attaching tiles to the exterior of the brick oven. It dries gray and is quite effective with coverage of 1268 sq. in. (1/8” thick) with a 10-pound bucket. The product is food safe but recommended to wash off the remaining dust or fumes after curing for a couple of days. The product is an excellent mortar for inside of a wood stove or small forge, and various customers have used it to patch up their forges or small fire pits. The product has a good strength of 3000 psi and quite easy to apply with desired Consistency.
