- Question : How long does the unused tube last?Answer : I do not actually know, but as long as the tip is sealed to keep the fluid liquid, I would think several months. I don’t use the entire tube at once and come back to use it over several months and I have no issues. Hope this helps. J. Caldw
- Question : How long until it works? Been over 48 hours and still having problemAnswer : It should certainly work within 48 hrs. In our case the ants congregate to it almost immediately. I did have one case where we had ants coming in from 3 different places that I did not immediately realize so I had to end up putting multiple places with the gel. Also make sure to put out a thin long string(s) of gel to give the ants more surface area to eat from. A big blob is not as effective.
- Question : How many ant gels does this product come with. Is it just one?Answer : It comes with one, but it doesn’t really take a lot. My first time I went a little over kill with it. Using too much in cracks where ants were working. But I had 2 separate colonies working my exterior chimney. It’s probably been 2 months and they haven’t returned—so I assume both colonies were terminated. I just purchased another tube as backup should I have more issues.
- Question : Which states can Advion be shipped to?Answer : I know it is used in Florida alot.
- Question : i have ants coming in my baseboard windows in basement-- how do i use this?Answer : Squeeze pea-sized to 1" long dabs along their travel path on the baseboard. Or buy some bait stations and put it in those for easier clean up. Someone else suggested cut up plastic straws, though that will limit how many can feed at once. They’ll go crazy for it so don’t be surprised if you find 100X more than you’ve seen chowing down.
- Question : Does it work on cockroaches??Answer : You can get the same brand that for killing cockroaches. Works like you wouldn’t believe. I have seen it with my own eyes in a home of a patient that was infested. All exterminators use this.
