- Tenacity is a systemic pre-emergence and post-emergence herbicide for the selective contact and residual control of weeds in turfgrasses.
- When applied as a pre-emergent, weeds absorb Tenacity during emergence from the soil.
- Target pests: Barnyardgrass, Carpetweed, Chickweed, Clover, Crabgrass (large & smooth), Dandelion, Foxtail, Goosegrass, Henbit, Yellow Nutsedge, Purslane, Thistle, Wild Carrot and others

- Question : What is surfactant? Is it included with Tenacity?Answer : Surfactant is used to remove oil from the plant and make the Chemical stick better. Tenacity is used with trimec to kill all kinds of weeds. No, surfactant is not included with Tenacity.

Cut the grass to 1 inch, spray glyphosate to the whole lawn, then add 8 to 10 lbs of seed per 1000 sq ft, and add starter fertilizer. Water at least 1 inch per week for best results.
- Question : Can I apply lawn dye to prevent small white spots when using Tenacity?Answer : It is pointless to apply lawn dye to prevent white or dead spots on the undesirable grass or weeds. It is advisable to reseed with fescue and other northern lawn grasses to repair larger spots and areas.

Tenacity is an herbicide that effectively removes weeds, especially crabgrass. To use, mix five to seven ounces of the solution with trimec chemicals to 25 gallons of water. While it is best to apply early in the morning, it can also be applied on lawns up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. An eight-ounce bottle can cover around 0.3 acres of land using just half a teaspoon per gallon of water. It is advisable to renovate a lawn if it consists of over 50% crabgrass, and after one week of using Tenacity, only spot-treat to minimize the bleaching effect.
