I had mine shipped to my house and sent it to my daughter who is my long-distance connection. She got hers in the mail after I mailed it. It works perfectly. You do have to have the app open to send and connect on the bracelet. But if you want to, you can use the app and just send messages that way. It’s very cool and fun.

How can I get customer service to respond to me? My bracelet died after one day and they've been awful at responding to my emails for help!

Did you charge it? Each bracelet should come with a charger. The two I ordered each had their own individual white round charger.
