Butter powder is primarily used in baking as it is easy to mix into flour and doesn't cause clumping. If you are looking for a butter that will work for frying and have a long shelf life, look for ghee or clarified butter, which is butter without any milk solids. The butter powder is also used to spread butter flavor by sprinkling it. It can mix with liquid and can also be sprinkled on cooked veggies. It is easy to dissolve in a little water, milk, or oil. One interesting use that a user discovered was using it as a topping for popcorn which was excellent.
