On the top down photo you can see it looks darker (like the tassel color), but at an angle it looks lighter and shiny.

This prayer rug is made of viscose velvet and has a sheen that causes it to look different depending on the angle and lighting. The quality of the rug is alright, but not as soft as some others. The geometric designs are beautiful and it is foldable for storage. Some reviewers are happy with their purchase and feel it is worth the higher price tag, but others have received stained products, low-quality prayer beads, and find it too small or not padded enough. It is recommended to check out all photos to get an idea of the pink color.
