Lilith's Brood is a must-read series for any science fiction enthusiast. The trilogy is over 700 pages of imaginative and captivating storytelling. The first book, Dawn, sets up a unique perspective on first contact with aliens. The end of what earth was, and without going into detail, it rang true of what could really happen due to humanity’s flaws. The next two books, Adulthood Rites and Imago, continue the story and bring up difficult questions about the nature of man. Octavia Butler's characters are believable, and her writing style is refreshingly crisp. Overall, Lilith's Brood is a captivating and thought-provoking science fiction trilogy that anyone should read.
