Can I use this on James Hardie Panels for exterior siding?

Haven't taken mine out of the package yet. I'm improvising cement board for skirting on a manufactured home I'm working on. I looked high and low for a tool that would pre-drill and countersink as I want it to look finished once the #10 gray poly screws are sunk. I can't imagine why it wouldn't work but it is an expensive bit $$$ Good Luck

What size and type of screw did you use to secure the Hardiboard after using this tool?

This product is a bit expensive, but does an excellent job. In my case I used 3/16 inch Tapcons to secure half inch Hardi-board. The countersink was a bit more than 1/16 inch below the surface. I had no problems with any of the Tapcons pulling through the countersink hole. Makes a nice clean insulation that can even be used in place of wallboard for a weeping cinder block wall. Will also work with 1/4 inch hardi-board but wouldn't recommend it unless you use the 1/4 inch sized tapcons.
