It took me a week to season my humidor, leaving it shut after adding distilled water to the humidifier. Throughout the week, the humidity may fluctuate. After about 7 days, adding a Boveda 72% pack along with cigars helped maintain a 70-72% range. Make sure to also keep your humidor away from sunlight.

How good is the seal between the glass and wood? Does it leak?

The seal is very good, and there are no leaks between the glass and wood. This humidor is highly recommended.

This will be my first humidor. Do I need to remove my cigars from their wrapping when I place them inside?

You do not need to remove the wrappers once you have seasoned the humidor. Make sure the humidor is seasoned before use, or the interior cedar in the new humidor will suck all of the moisture out of your cigars.

Having trouble keeping the humidity above 62%. Any tips?

I use a spray bottle and occasionally spray the inside of the top shelf with water to keep the humidity above 65%. I also use the gel solution and humicare pillow.

For the Milano Glass Top, where is the ideal place to install the large humidifier?

Personally, I found Boveda 2-way humidity pouches to be effective. I followed their instructions and seasoned my humidor for 2 weeks. Then, I placed 2 75% packs in it. After that, my humidor consistently stays at 72% humidity. As for the large humidifier that comes with the humidor, it is usually placed on the back right wall or floor.
