- MEASUREMENT: The fabric width is 1” narrower than the total roller width, due to the brackets at the both ends. For inside mount, window frame should have at least 2” depth, and our window roller shade will have a tiny light gap on each side. To avoid light gap, consider the outside mount. For outside mount, shade should be 4” - 6” wider than window frame, shade length should be at least 2” longer than the window length for better coverage.
- EASY TO INSTALL AND MAINTAIN: Our window roller shade contains an accessory kit including metal bracket, screws and install instruction for convenience. Clean with damp cloth, Low Iron. If accessories are missing or broken, please message us and we will resend the accessories ASAP.

- Question : Is there some leeway on the total width for inside mounting?Answer : Sure, a small amount. Ours was off, works, but it was a TIGHT fit, any tighter would have bound and probably not worked properly. I measured carefully multiple times.
- Question : I am considering the light filtering. Does it let light through and still control the strong afternoon sun that fades my furniture and artwork?Answer : It lets a bit of light thru. But im sure it will filter to protect.

This solar shade is easy to install and does a great job of filtering light while still providing some privacy. It has been used on various types of doors and windows, including those with full glass storm doors and metal-framed glass doors inside and outside. It comes only in vertically mountable sizes and cannot be cut to smaller sizes. The off-white color appears to be just white. Some customers have had issues with the included screws breaking or stripping, so it may be best to use personal screws as often observed across the reviews. The chain is susceptible to rusting when left uncovered in the rain over several days, which leave a noticeable yellow strip on the material. Overall, this product seems to work well, and although it is listed for use in the bathroom, it may not provide enough privacy, as seen in one review.
