The eXtremeRate Clear Atomic Purple Replacement Full Housing Shell for Nintendo DS Lite is a high-quality replacement shell that comes with everything needed, including one stylus. It has a soft-touch feel and needs no trimming or cover pads. Although the tri-wing screws can strip easily, it has great fitting and comes with a replacement screw cover pad. The border on the touchscreen needs to be removed to use the shell since a purple one is built-in. The package also includes a matching stylus and slot 2 cover. Overall it is a fantastic build quality and has a beautiful color that looks better in person. However, it is complex for beginners, and the rubber pads on the top part don’t quite touch the bottom when it closes. The shell is thinner than an OEM shell, and its hinge can break if it falls. The Cons include soft tri-wing screws, longer metal rings, and a slight lip between the top screen bezel and the housing.
