- Question : Does this save power or will it waste more?Answer : It depends on usage. Eco mode consumes less energy/power than normal power settings (low, medium, high) but each power setting consumes more energy/power than the prior. Timer setting controls how long the unit runs before turning off, which saves energy in the long run. If the fan and heater are running at the same time, it uses more energy. Best used in a singular room.
- Question : What the lowest temperature in Fahrenheit that it will reach for the fan?Answer : Fans by themselves don't lower air temperature. But they do make you feel cool because the moving air helps moisture evaporate from your skin.
- Question : What is the noise decibel?Answer : Low noise.
- Question : How do you turn off the bright red LED near the bottom?Answer : The red LED on the bottom of the unit cannot be turned off. It is an indicator that there is power to the unit.
- Question : Does this item self regulate to the adjusted temperature?Answer : When the unit is set to a temperature, it will regulate itself to reach the temperature desired, at which time it will cycle itself on and off to maintain the desired setting.
- Question : Can you run this on low fan speed while using the heating function? (i want it to be very quiet)Answer : When in heating mode, only the lower fan/heat run, and it is very quiet. For non-heating, the upper fan runs and is very quiet in speeds 1 & 2, and still not very loud on speeds 3 & 4....more of a rushing air noise.

This all-year heater and fan combines the function of both heating and cooling; however, it does not cool like a home air conditioner. The product has four heat settings, including one that combines heat and fan, but it consumes a lot of power and does not blow very hard. The thermostat feature is helpful, and the heater is quiet, but some find the controls hard to understand. The fan does not blow very hard and has a weak power output. One reviewer liked the air filter but wished the remote was more responsive. The heater is not very effective, and the odor it emits has been off-putting for some. One customer reported issues with the heater shutting off and not turning back on. Despite some negatives, reviewers overall recommend this product.
