    Answer : Yes, this detergent is powerful enough to handle your toughest loads in all wash temperatures, even cold water.

    Answer : For standard bottles, fill the cap to Bar A for medium-sized loads, or use half a capful for energy-saving cold water cycles. Use a full cap of this detergent for large or heavily soiled loads. For larger dispenser sizes, fill to the top of Line C for medium loads and use half a capful for large or heavily soiled loads.
  • Question : Is this detergent safe for use in High Efficiency (HE) washers?
    Answer : Yes, this detergent is designed to work in both standard and HE models as an effective and efficient laundry cleaner and stain remover, and won’t block HE machine sensors.
  • Question : The 170 load container was 229.5 oz up until recently; it’s now 170 oz. There’s no indication of a formula change so what’s with the fuzzy math?

With less water, there are also more active ingredients in each drop. For ARM & HAMMER, our detergent is now concentrated with 3X powerful stain fighters in every drop (vs. the leading bargain detergent). It has 3x as much of the active cleaning ingredient as the non-concentrated detergent.
