- The DisplayPort cable (DP plug to DP plug) meets the latest DisplayPort 2.0 standard – and is fully backwards compatible with earlier versions like DP 1.4
- Designed for maximum safety: Pin 20 (as per VESA specifications) is not connected to avoid damage due to short circuits. The DisplayPort cable also works bidirectionally with PCs, laptops/notebooks, monitors & projectors

The KabelDirekt 8K DisplayPort 2.0 Cable is a good quality cable for gaming, graphics cards, laptops, displays, and projectors. Customers seem to have mixed experiences when it comes to purchasing the correct length of the cable, with some receiving shorter cables and others getting longer ones with incorrect labelling. However, the cable itself is said to be of good quality and has rigid design and clips that secure it in place. Some customers needed a right angle adapter to fit the long connector in their setup. The cable works great for some customers, while others had issues with compatibility with DisplayPort 1.4 devices or experienced flickering when connected through a KVM. After connecting the cable, customers only needed to set the refresh rate. Overall, customers seem satisfied with the quality of the cable, but the incorrect labeling of length is a drawback.
