The unit has a cord and can hold one scent pad, and it is recommended that children between 10 lbs. and 22 lbs. not use more than two pads in a 24 hour period. The night light cannot be turned off, and the unit is supposed to get warm as the heat releases the scent from the pad. Reviewers have had mixed experiences with the product, with some stating that it is too strong and others stating that it is not strong enough or does not produce a Consistent smell. The product packaging of some units was torn open, but the product appeared new.
