While there are similarities, it is not the same. Nicotinamide is taken internally and niacinamide is designed for topical use. Our RESIST 10% Niacinamide should only be used topically.

Can this be used in an evening routine in conjunction (before) a retinol?

My dermatologist suggested to use these on alternate nights in the beginning for at least 3 to 4 weeks. If there were no issues, he said if I wanted to use them together, to apply the niacinamide first and wait until it is well dried for awhile before applying the retinol. I followed what he suggested, and after the first 3 weeks, use the Niacinamide first, then wait for at least 30 minutes, preferably longer (thinking I am waiting longer for it to work), then put on the retinol. What I can say is this has made my skin look much clearer and brighter, and better than with the retinol alone. Hope this helps!

What percentage of Vitamin C is in this?

What is the color of this product? For my 1st purchase (2019), the liquid was yellow, (like apple juice), but on my recent purchase is a clear/cloudy.

Should be clear. I know that vitamin C serums can oxidize over time. PC brand is WAY overpriced. I prefer The Ordinary skincare line; super affordable and select your specific serums to tailor your needs.

Does this come in the new packaging? (green and white bottle)

Yes, exactly as looks in the photo. I keep rebuying this product because I could really see a difference in the size of my pores.

Can i use this after 2% bha? or how should i use this if i would like to have bha at the same time?

After cleansing and toning, I apply the BHA and wait a few minutes then I apply the niacinamide and wait til it’s absorbed. If day, it top it with spf moisture. Always use exfoliants (BHA, AHA) before treatments (niacinamide).
