- Question : Will this connector work with 11 speed Shimano Ultegra chain?Answer : No. 11 speed is narrower.
- Question : Is this ok to use with a sram 10 speed chain?Answer : This is compatible with any 10 speed chain. Be careful to observe the direction of installation. It’s possible to install upside down. This is the only brand of connection I use anymore.
- Question : Is this a genuine connex link (no knockoffs)?, does it come in the genuine connex factory box?Answer : Mine came in a box with paperwork that said connex.
- Question : My shimano chain CN-6600 says the chain width is 5.88mm. This Wippermann says the link width is 6.1mm. Is this the right one?Answer : I use it on the 6600 and the Dura-Ace chain and it works great!
- Question : Pins seem to fall out after short use. Have others had this issue?Answer : Yes, the pins fell out on me too after about 400 miles. They may have been a manufacturing issue.
- Question : Is this connector reusable?Answer : Yes, the Connex links are well known for this reason. They are made specifically to be reusable for the life of the product!
