- Easy Access: Front opening doors allow easy access for maintenance and feeding. A specially designed lock will prevent escape and the doors can be opened separately.
- Space for Layers: Extra high fixed front window is ideal for thick layers of substrates (burrowing reptiles), aquatic parts (paludarium) or to mount an Exo Terra reptile den.
- Proper Ventilation and UV: Full screen top ventilation allows for UVB and infrared penetration and is completely removable for easy access while decorating or cleaning.
- Accessory Functionality: On the back of the screen cover are 5 closable wire or tube inlets on both sides to install Heat Wave rocks, waterfalls, sensors, etc. inside the terrarium. Bottom plate of the terrarium is raised to mount a substrate heater.

- Question : Can I use this for a male mouse?Answer : Don’t see why not! Plenty of space! But the rock background is styrofoam so I suggest taking it out if you’ll be housing a mouse in there.
- Question : How many gallons is it?Answer : Approximately 16.8 gallon.
- Question : Would this be okay for a baby leopard gecko?Answer : Yes, as long as you fill the space with hiding spots and climbing things and all that good stuff, they'll be fine. You should probably go ahead and get the 24x18x12, though, that extra chunk of space is ideal.
- Question : Can this be used for a Baby Ball Python?Answer : Yes, it's a good size for a smaller snake.
- Question : Can you use a che (ceramic heat emitter) on top for a leopard gecko? (in addition to uth)Answer : I’m sure you could, I just use a bulb that gives off heat.
- Question : Can this house a Sudan Plated lizard?Answer : No they need 48” L x 24” W by at least 16” H.
- Question : Do you have to use the styrafoam for leopard gecko?Answer : It's up to you. If you feed your gecko with crickets or any kind of life insects. I suggest to take off the Styrofoam before feeding your gecko so the insects can't hide from the other side of the styrafoam.

This 16.8 gallon terrarium is a great size for leopard geckos, ball pythons, and smaller species of terrestrial tarantulas. The door feature makes handling and feeding easy, but the foam backdrop is a safety concern as it can cause small animals to fall behind it. The packaging is top notch, but shipping damage is a concern as some customers reported receiving their terrariums cracked or broken. Overall, this is a good product as long as it arrives undamaged.
