Abreva B00FPRCAS8 Cold Sore & Fever Blister Treatments Editorial Review

Abreva is a small pump that dispenses a liquid the Consistency of a hand cream. The expiration date of the product is around five months away, which is not acceptable for a medicated product. The product can have a Consistent amount each time you use the pump, but it doesn't allow you to easily get the amount of abreva you need for different sized cold sores. The abreva in the pump was very liquidly compared to the one in the tube. Additionally, the product's pump gets clogged and wastes abreva. The tube is recommended over the pump as it is less wasteful and you can control how much product you use for different sized cold sores. Overall, those who require the product recommend it for its quick results.

Pros

  • Consistent amount each time you use the pump

Cons

  • Abreva does not allow easy control on the amount used for different sized cold sores
  • The product's pump dries up and clogs
  • The abreva in the pump was very liquidly compared to the one in the tube
