Lasko 1827 Pedestal Fans Editorial Review
The Lasko 2511 tower fan has a sleep mode, oscillates, and has a remote control which can set 3 different speeds and the sleep timer at 1,2 or 4 hrs. The front of blade cage can be removed, so the fan is easy to clean. No tools are required for assembly. The sound level on low speed is good and louder on high speed. It was suggested by an engineer to avoid the use of a rheostat motor controller. The fan is proudly made in the USA. One reviewer found that the fan shroud falls off every time it is touched, however it puts out a good amount of wind. Another reviewer suggests the fan can be noisy. After using it for 6 months, it stopped working for another person. Some reviewers found it easy to assemble and clean. One reviewer had a constant clicking when using the oscillation function, but had their issue refunded. One person found the quality to be lower compared to an older model by Lasko. It was reviewed as 'excellent!'
