The Epiphone Les Paul Special II Electric Guitar Player Pack is a great package for beginners and intermediate players. The guitar has a decent build and a quality feel, with a versatile sound that suits most genres. However, some users say the neck is thicker than what they are used to, and the included amp may have overheating issues or is better suited for practice only. The cable that comes with the guitar is short and the gig bag is minimal, so it is recommended to buy a better one. The built-in tuner is a plus, and the amp also features a built-in distortion channel with plenty of controls. There were some issues with delivery and packaging, but customer service was accommodating in trying to resolve them.
