- Question : Is this similar to Neutrogena's Hydroboost water-gel?Answer : I’ve not used hydroboost, but this is a cream. They make more of a gel like moisturizer in this line. I love this brand and product as it’s high quality and I’ve used it for years. The mucin 96 moisturizer is also more gel like that the hydrium cream.
