- Question : What does 0 5 4 mean? I thought it was supposed to be 20 20 20 for NPK ratios.Answer : 0 5 4 means it has 0 percent nitrogen, 5% phosphorus, and 4% potassium. 20-20-20 is 20% all around.
- Question : Can you use for garden?Answer : I have been using these fertilizers for many years in an indoor hydroponic capacity and have never been disappointed. Last year I started a small vegetable garden. I purchased a 5-gallon plastic water jug, and a 'doo-hickey' that draws up the fert and blends it into the stream of fresh water through a garden hose. Not sure what kind of dilution is happening, but the results are stunning!! I fed them twice a week (depending on the weather).
- Question : Can this be used in an aerogarden in place of the expensive liquid plant food that comes with the system?Answer : Yes, but you would need to pH balance it with at least a pH test kit, you would have to be careful to follow dosage instructions as well, it is a 3 part formula.
- Question : Can you use General Hydroponics FloraGro for your Aerogarden herbs?Answer : Yes, I use them with my Aerogardens growing peppers and love them!
- Question : Is this for hydroponics only or is it good for soil?Answer : This product is a multi medium product. That means you are able to use it in a wide array of soil applications, Coco coir or hydroponics substrates.
