    Answer : Yes, the cooking pot is BPA-free.

    Answer : Yes, the grill is nonstick and you never have to worry about your meats sticking while still getting that charred grilled flavor.

    Answer : Yes, all cooking surfaces are nonstick and dishwasher safe, making it easy to clean after use.
  • Question : Can you bring this on a plane if it is checked-in with your luggage? I want to cook healthier meals while traveling.
    Answer : Well I once cooked some steak, flight attendants won’t say a word if you offer them some of the steak.
  • Question : Is there any way to fry an egg with the grill surface?
    Answer : I put parchment paper in the pan and fried away. I do this on the stove top all the time in a frying pan. Egg slides right off. Put butter or cooking spray on paper to make it easier to slide off if desired.
  • Question : Can you separate the pot from the base? In other words, is the pot removable for cleaning?
    Answer : This pot cannot be separated from the base. I really do not know how to clean it. And I do not know why the wrong answer still here to mislead more customer!
  • Question : How many watts?
    Answer : 1200
  • Question : Can you fry hamburger meat in this?
    Answer : I exclusively cook burgers in mine, it works great. Four burgers will fit in here.
  • Question : Does it work as a steamer also? I just wanna make sure.
    Answer : Yes, it works great as a steamer. We use it primarily for that purpose. I love doing corn on the cob in it. 4-5 ears, 1 cup of water, and 10 min = perfect corn! No fussing with a huge pot of boiling water!
  • Question : How does one use the steamer on this item?
    Answer : Place food on a heat safe plate or metal rack in the middle of the grill. Add at least one cup of water. Turn the grill on to the desired temperature (use the steam time table sheet in your manual). Place the lid over the food to steam!
  • Question : What is the trick to detach the grill to wash?
    Answer : Just pull it out.
  • Question : How deep is it?
    Answer : It is approximately 2 1/2" deep, heats very fast and evenly.
  • Question : Can you purchase a separate smooth bottom pan for this super pot?
    Answer : No
