The Veepeak BLE+ OBD2 scanner is an affordable and versatile tool that allows you to read and clear diagnostic trouble codes, monitor fluid temperatures, and check for elusive dashboard engine status indicators. If you're looking to buy the unit, you should know that it comes with a compatibility warning: enhanced diagnostics via the Car Scanner app are not included, so the app will lead you down a path you may not need. Therefore, the BLE+ scanner and its Car Scanner app shouldn't be selected if you want to disable warning lights on your dashboard, but if you need to clear and read diagnostic trouble codes and monitor fluid temperatures, the device can certainly help.
