If it's not a '2X' machine, I think you might need to use 1/2 the amount. I would test it and see how it cleans.

- Question : Approximately how many square footage does this 48 oz bottle cover? I have about 1000 sq ft of carpet.Answer : If my math is correct, that is equal to 10 - 10x10 rooms. I would suggest you have two or three handy. I also use their Boost with it. Does a great job - great product.
