- Question : Are the 'new' ones harder than the 'old' ones?Answer : I have had no issues with my new version.
- Question : What else do I need to buy to connect to my airbrush?Answer : It comes with an air filter and not much else. You will need to provide an air hose and any adapter needed to fit that hose to your brush.
- Question : Has the problem with regulator fittings been fixed?Answer : I haven't had any issues with mine.
- Question : What is the purpose of the tank if the compressor turns off when the airbrush is not in use?Answer : The purpose of the air compressor is to compress the air in the tank up to the pounds you have set on the pressure gauge. It will turn itself on and off as the air is released from the air tank to maintain the air pressure you have set.
- Question : Is this 110v or 220v?Answer : It is 110v.
- Question : Is it adequate to shoot thinned enamel with Paasche H at 35 psi?Answer : It may drain the tank quickly if you shoot at that high of pressure for thinned paint. It is recommended to have a fan blowing on it and a water separator in the system to keep moisture out as much as possible.
- Question : Can it be used with a nail gun?Answer : No, it cannot be used with a nail gun. It is recommended to use a pancake style compressor designed for nail guns.
- Question : What is the difference between the new and old model?Answer : I don't know the difference. However, I don't recommend this compressor as it lost pressure after a year and a half of daily use.

The Paasche D3000R 15HP Airbrush Compressor with Tank, Regulator, and Moisture Trap is a complete package that includes everything that is needed, except for a hose and adapter to fit your brush. It is perfect for airbrushing models, runs quietly, is easy to adjust, and has a moisture trap that works very well.The compressor works as expected and runs very quietly. However, there is a significant flaw that adds extra work to getting it to function properly. The regulator is misaligned with the tank, and the connection between the moisture trap/regulator has poorly crafted threads, which make it impossible to install the gear in the correct position. Nonetheless, using caulking on the regulator connection fixed the leaking problem.

- -Comes with an air filter and moisture trap that works very well. -Runs quietly -Pressure regulator is securely attached (new version only). -Has a tank that reduces air pulsing and provides a Constant stream of smooth air.

- -The regulator is misaligned with the tank. -The threads for the moisture trap/regulator are not well crafted. -Auto-stop function doesn't work for some users.
