- Question : What powers the clock?Answer : The clock is powered by 3 AA batteries (not included).
- Question : What is the size of the clock?Answer : The clock measures 5-inches tall, 7-inches wide, and 2.3-inches deep.
- Question : Is there a warranty?Answer : Yes, there is a one-year limited warranty.
- Question : Is there a sec read out? Van this clock be formatted to 24h read out?Answer : No second readout. It does have 24 hr format, however, I strongly urge you to look for another clock! Constantly having to change battery...then just stopped working after about a month.
- Question : Can you use lithium AA batteries?Answer : Yes, you may use AA lithium batteries. They are a direct replacement for alkaline and carbon-zinc AA batteries. They cost more but have advantages. The batteries have a shelf life of 5-7 years, perhaps more. They are not rechargeable. The clock will use very little power so you'll get several years of use from one set of lithium batteries and not have to bother with changing them every few months.

- Question : Does this clock use one AA battery or two?Answer : Dear Joe,I believe that the clock takes two AA batteries. Is this important because of the cost of the second battery? Be a sport, take a chance and buy the clock.
- Question : I Aa last 2 weeks. I just bought lithium batteries and they lasted 3 weeks what is wrong with this clock?Answer : Hello Alice, We do not recommend using lithium batteries in this unit. Please make sure that you are using standard alkaline batteries from a high-quality brand, then perform the following reset. 1. Remove all power, AC adapter and batteries from the display unit. 2. Press and hold down the reset button, located in the battery compartment, for 20 seconds. 3. Plug back into AC power and insert recommended batteries. 4. Press and hold down the reset button for an additional 20 seconds. 5. Verify that the unit has powered on and once a connection has been made, attempt to set time and date. - Question : How to stop the 'dst' sign from flashing in dst mode? it's annoying.Answer : I guess the flashing DST is a feature. All three clocks I've heard of or seen have the flashing. Does anyone know how to stop it? Actually it's not annoying for me.
- Question : Does this item work for Singapore i.e. able to sync with Singapore timing accurately? Can I switch the temp unit from Fahrenheit to Celsius?Answer : The Time Zone setting is only for the four zones in the U.S. Also, the correct time is sent from Colorado, USA, and would not reach Singapore. You can set the correct time by using the leaflet that comes with the clock and just hope the time remains accurate. Set again if not. The Fahrenheit/Celsius button is in the battery compartment on the bottom of the clock. See manual (the leaflet).
- Question : Clock (two of them) keeps setting back one hour every day?Answer : My clock is fine at night and every morning it shoots forward 2 hours .. I have it set on PST (Pacific) because I am in Hawaii ... I have the time and date set correctly ... is i a 'satellite' thing or do I have a defective unit?
- Question : Does this clock automatically illuminates display in a dark environment??Answer : It's an LCD clock, there's an easy access button (about 2 inches long) on top that is the snooze button, when you press the button it lights the display, whether using snooze feature or not.
