This book seemed to receive mixed reviews. Some customers complained about the missing CD-ROMs and the fact that the book is not spiral-bound anymore, while others raved about its content, saying almost any “drummer set virtuoso” or aspiring drummer should get their hands on it. They thought it was a great book, despite some blurry prints, for jazz lovers as well as beginners. A drum instructor even recommended the book, stating they had used it over 30 years ago. Though it's hard, customers believed the techniques discussed in the book would improve their drumming.
