Drum Workshop DWCP9002XF Bass Drum Pedals Editorial Review
The DW 9000 XF double pedal is a great buy for drummers who prefer an extended footboard. It is adjustable to suit different playing styles and feels comfortable to play. The power transfer is smooth and responsive, with a huge sweet spot range. It can be used with nylon or chain straps, and the double beaters work correctly with the kick head. However, some customers had issues with the left slave pedal's cam being further back than the right pedal, and the chain needing adjustment to be equal with the right pedal. This throws off the eccentric setting, and the action of the left pedal is very slow compared to the right one. Some customers reported that the left pedal doesn't match the full potential of the master pedal. Nonetheless, many customers praise the product's pedal design and recommend it over other brands like Iron Cobra, Axis Long Board, and Pearl Demon Drives.
