do not ever put mink oil on gortex boots . good quality waterproof boots are breathable if you put any kind of oil conditioner it will seal up the breathable leather and your feet will not be able to exspell moisture and sweat and your feet will feel wet with sweat it will feel like they are leaking

I didn't notice it darkening the leather, but it has been awhile since I used it.

Yessir used it on my bred 4s anything suade and newbuck

will it soften a leather hand bag? New leather is stiff and I want to soften the bag. TY

I would not use it. I would use the actual mink oil, the spray crap has so much thinner added to it so it will spray and it has done little to actually condition my leather boots. all it did was make them skweeeeek skweeeeek every step. so much so i took them off and bought a new pair and used the oil and no issue now.
