- Question : What is the red tape in the package for??? No clue. Why include it with no instructions??Answer : I think it’s to tape the 2 pieces of plastic together. Without something holding them together, any time you bump the plastic they come apart.

Do you think the magnets will hold up against it?Answer : No. The magnets are only strong enough to hold it in place but if it’s even slightly bumped it moves. I have two 10 lb dogs and they are constantly knocking them around.
- Question : What is the red tape in the package for??? Please tell me what to do with red tape. Does it go on the long part of the register?Answer : If your vent is made of aluminum or wood and cannot be held by magnets, you can use this roll of red double-sided tape to stick the air deflector to the vent
