The watch uses an SR621SW battery, and the Miyota 6P21 Movement powers it. The moon phase feature is beautiful and can be seen on the guilloche dial. However, the day and date dials are very small, making them difficult to read, and the moon phase function only presents two identical brass-colored circles, leaving the viewer unsure if it's showing the moon or sun. The included bracelet is also too short and may need an additional 1.5 inches added to it. Overall, it is a sleek watch that is comfortable to wear daily and offers good value, especially for the price.
