    Answer : I've only used them for salads, but I believe they would be okay for warm food. Being in a dishwasher doesn't damage them, and food isn't going to be hotter than that, is it? You mention a toddler. I think these bowls would be too large for a toddler's meal.

    Answer : I don't generally heat food on them in the microwave, but I have done without any problem. I've had them for a couple of years now and use regularly, and they still look good. In the dishwasher all the time. They were definitely good value for money. Hope this helps
