- The amazing new Dragon Formula (DF) Urethane used to create these wheels is another industry leading innovation from Powell Peralta. DF-93A Dragons will not only roll over rough terrain, but also grip and slide like 99A and 101A wheels do, so that you can do all your normal tricks and more on the greater range of skate terrains made skateable by its softer 93A hardness.
- Speed: Dragons are very fast because DF-93A is super high rebound, an industry leading 18-20% higher than hard wheels. This higher rebound means you won’t loose speed in bowls or parks the way you would with an ordinary 93A wheel, and you will roll much smoother and faster on rough streets and sidewalks…even in places you use to have to walk your board
- Grip & Slide: Dragons slide on both rough and smooth terrains, and also grip when you need it. This is because Dragon Formula is not just an ordinary mid-90’s wheel formula. It has been developed over a ten year period to optimize and fine tune it to perfection. No other wheel can do what these Dragons can.
- Durability: Dragon Formula is not only smooth, fast and slidable, it is also durable. Its slidability comes from its unique blend of high performance materials not by making the urethane weak so it will slide as the urethane wears away, creating flats spots. Dragons are very long lasting so they are not only better skating, they are a great value too.

- Question : Would dragon formula rat bones be good for flatland freestyle?Answer : These wheels work for it all. Andy Anderson rides these wheels for street freestyle and park. They come in multiple sizes and shapes.
- Question : I just got a set of 52mm and the color is more off white than my two sets of 56s. Is the difference coming from the batch or size?Answer : The color definitely varies with the dragon formula. It all depends on the shop and the light they use. They all get more off white in the sun, but the wheels are definitely fire to ride.
- Question : I’ve been skating 53 mm conical fulls and is wondering which wheel size and mm would translate the best?Answer : 54mm x 34mm would most likely translate the best, unless you want to size up to 56mm. The width on the 56mm is closer to a conical full.
- Question : What’s the difference between the 54mm x 32mm and the 54mm x 34mm?Answer : The width is the difference between the two, so the 54mm x 34mm is a wider wheel, similar in shape to a BONES V4 Shape, while the 54mm x 32mm is a bit thinner/slimmer, similar in shape to a BONES V1 Shape.

The Powell Peralta Dragon Formula 93A Skateboard Wheels are highly versatile, perfect for street freestyle, park, and flatland. They come in multiple sizes and shapes to fit your riding style. The wheels have a sensitive formula and respond well to rough streets and crappy grounds. They are light and crush over pebbles that would typically throw you off the board. However, they may not be the best option for smooth concrete or wood parks. Riders have claimed that they slow down on very smooth concrete surfaces and become sluggish on wood. They power slide well and grip like Indy car tires, making them ideal for all uses, especially hybrid skating.
