    Answer : The waffles are 1-inch thick

    Answer : No, you don’t have to because the ninja is a nonstick pan so there is no need to spray it.
  • Question : Can I mix fruit in the batter?
    Answer : Not recommended unless the fruit is quite small or chopped up … remember, the batter is gravity fed and large fruits will block the flow … personally, if I want fruit on my waffle, I place it on the finished waffle on a plate … this waffle maker is the best from my experience but there are a few minor no-no’s - one being adding fruit to the batter … still, highly recommended …
  • Question : Has anyone successfully made keto waffle batter in this maker with almond and coconut flour?
    Answer : I have used with keto pancake mix... I would suggest you add a tablespoon of oil. Works great!
  • Question : What is the diameter of the ready waffles?
    Answer : 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 inches square. I rounded it down it’s just slightly bigger but not quite six inches.
  • Question : Can I put some sprinkles in my poured waffle batter to make confetti waffles?
    Answer : I really do not see why you can’t add sprinkles to your waffle batter. The Ninja waffle maker is non-stick. Plus, your sprinkles will most likely melt a bit while the waffle is baking. Also, I recommend using the number 5 setting. It makes the waffles nicely browned without burning. They come out perfect.

Ninja BW1001 Waffle Irons Editorial Review

The Ninja NeverStick Premium Waffle Maker is a non-stick, easy-to-use and easy-to-clean appliance that is highly recommended. It cooks Belgian waffles to perfection every time even without the need for oil or butter, and releases easily. The machine has five heat settings to get the desired colorization of the waffle. The size of the Belgian waffle is estimated to be 5x5 inches. The machine is PFOA and PTFE free, can be stored laying down, and does not need cooking spray. However, it is not recommended to make non-pourable items like herb stuffing waffles. Also, it takes 8 weeks to deliver as it ships directly from Ninja’s manufacturing plant.
