The kit contains 116 servings rather than the expected 120, but the double serving size of pouches compared to other brands makes up for this. The food is proudly made and packaged in the USA and has a shelf life of over 24 years. However, the kit is not certified organic, gluten-free, nor free from dairy, peanut, or tree nut. The Cheesy Broccoli Soup tasted bad when cooked on the stovetop but tasted good when cooked in a crockpot, while the Spaghetti tasted more like tomato soup than spaghetti, and the Chili Mac was barely acceptable. Despite all of this, it is reassuring to have this kit in the pantry for emergency purposes.
