The Keychron C2 mechanical keyboard has been well received among customers for its feel, feedback and functionality. It's hot swappable and the best value keyboard of its kind for Mac. It comes with blue switches which many customers found to be smooth and Consistent. The keyboard is highly customizable with RGB backlights and offers the option to switch between Mac and Windows. The key caps and switches are replaceable making this keyboard a long-term purchase for less. Some customers had an issue with the size of the alternate symbols on the numeric key caps, which were small and hard to read. Another issue was the function keys not working on Linux, but a user hack was found that may solve the issue. Some customers wished for a right angle adapter to the USB-C port, as this would help in placement. Overall, the Keychron C2 has no additional software, works from the moment it's plugged in and is an excellent choice for new buyers or seasoned mechanical keyboard users.
