The Audio Technica 2021 is a sensitive condenser mic that receives mixed feedback when it comes to various applications So, it's not a great choice for trumpet or lead steel drum, and probably not the best cheap mic for voiceovers. However, feedback from church and music production users are largely positive. When used for congas or percussion, the mic works great, and for acoustic guitar, it provides excellent tone and brightness. Choirs can also be miced up if directly in front of the mic.
