The VidaTeco 7-Sheet Strip Cut Shredder is a compact and affordable option for home use. Designed to shred paper, cards and staples, it is a convenient tool for destroying sensitive documents. The shredder has an extendable arm that allows for easy feeding and its durable Construction guarantees fast and jam-proof shredding. The strips produced by the shredder are around 6/26 inches wide, which makes them suitable for daily use that doesn't require a super high level of security protection. It has an auto mode and needs to be plugged into the wall to work. However, based on customer reviews and feedback, the shredder has some major downsides. It is poorly assembled and held together with glue and only a handful of screws. The shredder jams easily, and customers have had a hard time clearing it. Some have had to use tweezers to pull paper out, and the reverse function is not always effective. The shredder is also not very durable and does not last long with frequent use. Additionally, some customers have received the product with papers already inside, and some have experienced bending of the cutters. Lastly, the shredder is said to be very loud when in use.
