The Master Lock Trailer Lock is a stainless steel adjustable coupler latch lock. It features a 9/32 inch diameter pin that can secure couplers up to 2-3/4 inches wide. Although the locks are all keyed differently, they can be rekeyed by a locksmith that has the Master wafer lock rekeying kit. The lock itself is covered in a rubberised coating and is about the size of a quarter and 2 inches long. Customer reviews have been mixed. Some customers report that the lock feels sturdy and is easy to use, while others feel it provides no real security and is only a visual distraction. One customer in particular experienced issues with the lock becoming completely stuck after just two months of use. Another customer noted that the key won't go in smoothly even with a significant amount of dry lubrication. Overall, the Master Lock Trailer Lock may work well for some customers, but may not be the most reliable option for others.
