Personally, many players lose covers or don't get them at all as the paddles are plenty durable and generally are kept safe in a backpack or slingpack.

- Question : How much does this paddle weigh?Answer : Joola specifies 8.4 oz on average. Other pickleball sites take a more careful approach and write that individual paddles can weigh between 8.2 and 8.6 oz. Reviews suggest that the range can even be wider. What you get, a heavier one, a lighter one, or right on the spec, is a matter of random luck. The paddle which I got turned out to be on the lighter end of the spectrum, it weighs 8.163 oz, or 8.28 oz after I installed Wilson Pro overgrip.
- Question : Can you order the paddle in a specific weight?Answer : No. Not to my knowledge, unless you buy a custom made paddle. You would need to read all the descriptions of paddles to find a paddle weight you like.
- Question : What does mm mean?Answer : Mm is the metric abbreviation for millimeter. This designates the thickness of the paddle. Thicker paddles give more control and feel, thinner pickleball paddles will have a little more power.
- Question : Does this paddle exceed the official Pickleball paddle length? I thought the length was 17inches this paddle is 17.95Answer : Same length as Selkirks Invicta!!!
