How much info can the reader/hold at once?

It can't hold any information, because it has no memory. it works with other system, and if other system has memory, it can hold as much as you want. For example, when it is connected with a excel, the information will go to the excel in your computer. MSR605 is just a reading terminal tool. Thanks!

Does this machine copy existing magnetic strip cards, or is it for creating new cards from scratch?

This device can read an existing magnetic strip cards, and it can also create new cards by writing an old or new code.
