As far as I am aware, nothing about the front or back glass changed for the Fords from the seventies into early 2000. The only gap I have heard of is if you have factory trim that surrounds the glass. I hope this helps, this gasket is very thick and would have worked well had I not let it get too warm and allowed the cord to tear through it at the bottom corners. Good luck.

However, it does not fit a 1999 F150 XLT, 2005 Ford F-150, and a factory back slider that has a frame of 3/4” thick. Customer experience and reception: The reviews for this product are mixed.
